Well guys happy 2009. I'm back from Scotland and ready for a skate. I missed out on getting a skate again this trip but thats how it goes on family trips. I hope you all had a good holiday and I think Neil is planning to hit Bushy this Sunday if the weather lets us. Is anyone free?Kenny you still out there man? Eamon passed me on this pic and i must say Mrs Clause is looking good these days. What a great picture any more?

Well Bushy was freezing today, but to my surprise there was no frost. It must be about a month since I've had a chance to get a skate and to get Bushy to myself was a real treat. It's just a shame you guys where not there to join in on the fun. I only stayed about an hour and had a great roll around. With any luck we'll all have a chance to get together soon for a skate before Christmas. Hope the head is better Kenny we'll hook up next time. Did you get a chance to hit Unit 13 Eamon?

i hate working all the time and to make things worse when i do go to post the bloody internet conection is on the fritz. But that being said i hope you all had a better week than i did, but on the plus side the weather forcast for tomorrow is sun so is anyone free to hit Bushy early? I need some cool vids so if you have any pass them on and we'll post them.

Sunday was such a short session at Bushy, that its left me gagging for more. We where talking about hitting Cabra next time if anyone is up for it. It good to hear your thinking about a new deck Kenny. A new set up might be the thing you need to get you rolling like a pro.

Eamon payed a visit to Unit 13 on Sunday only to find that the park was closed because they where sifting thing around and Eamon thinks its going to add a lot more flow to the park. Maybe we should plan a road trip up to see him some tome before Christmas.

Well its Friday and that means its time to start making plans for a skate this Sunday. Any one free to hit Bushy at around 11ish on Sunday?
Eamon is still in rehab with his knee but on the plus side we are expecting to meet up with Kenny to give him his first taste of Bushy. So Fingers crossed the weather will be dry.

Well Eamon just just sent me an email saying

so I'll have to have another look, that will teach me to read thing properly next time.so have a look see if you can find a bargain. i like the "jack the dripper" but there are some cool deck there.The bad news is that the weather for Sunday is rain... bummer.I'd love to hit "Unit 13" but i don't think I'll be able to get up this weekend and with Eamon is still nursing his knee it not the best time for a road trip. So we'll just have to wait for the weather clears.

It appears there was contact made with the kidnappers today and as soon as the money if transferred to a hidden Swiss bank account they promise his safe return.

Well i got a chance to hit Bushy today and it was fun. The only thing was that there where no other skaters over the age of 14 there so i had a few rolls around, tried a few new line and just bombed around the place but it was fun. I'm looking forward to next Sunday with any lick there will be a few more of us.

Well to day i got about 5 mins in Gory skate park and I'm not sure about it? It was ok but to i was on my old Vallely for the first time in a few months and i was just not feeling it. A few weeks ago i took the advise of a few of the boys and finally loosened my truck that where almost welded tight but i never loosened my truck on the Vallely so it was hard to get use too. I was very pleased to see there where 4 older dudes there already and they where ripping and i was stiff from driving and not digging my old set up so i only lasted a few mins. So i'm going to have to hit Bushy in the morning to get it out of my system. I'll just have to take my new deck next time.

Well i had fun today, for once the weathermen where right and it was sunny. Bushy was dead for the first hour, but I was just about to give up and head home when a few of the lads turned up. So i ended up staying till 2pm or so and had a ball. I wanted to try some airs but without my skate buddy Eamon there to push me i never really felt the urge, so next time. But I'm loving the carving. Also i got a cool email from a guy called Kenny looking to meet up with us old farts for a skate after seeing us on Nationwide. So welcome to old dogs old tricks buddy.

Well the wait is over for us in old dogs old tricks RTE's Nationwide have finally showed the piece they did of us in Bushy and it not too bad. I'm sorry that we where unable to let you all know when the program was on in advance but the true of the mater was we never knew ether. i went in to work on Saturday to hear "you looked great last night...."But that's the way show business goes i guess. But all in all i think it turned out well, it's just a bummer that i could not skate on the day but that's life for you. I'm not going to say to much so have a look at it and post a comment I'd love to hear what you think of it. But i must say thanks to everyone who help.

Hi Eamon love the art work and the link. That guy has a great style love his art on the decks and hoodie.I'm going to give the tuxedo t-shirt some serious consideration,i love it. The decks are great i love that they look different, i don't know why all new school deck look the same.Its as if deck makers are just lazy and i love riding a deck that no one else has. I love the "Big fish" 10"x32" that would be a great one for you Eamon. I looked at it when i was looking for a new deck months ago and the shape is great. If you are tempted let me know and I'll get you to get me the T-shirt in XL. "Jack the dripper" looks cool but at 9.5"x36" that's one long deck. Keep up the good work buddy hope the knee is better did you miss work in the end? hope to see you pushing your plank soon.

Well yesterday was a bit of a bummer what with Eamon paying his dues, but its left me itching for another outing to Bushy. With any luck I'll be able to get out over the next few days. Is any one up for a trip to Bushy some lunch time this week?

We had a man down today. After coming all the way down from the north Eamon ended up limping home. He came off doing a simple front side carv which is nothing new, its happened to us all but normally you just slide out on your knee pads and that's it. But Eamon came down strangely, his foot kind of twisted under him and when his knee hit it was bad. We thought it might be dislocated but after a sit down for an hour he limped to his car and headed home. He says it still sore but he went to the Docs and the gave him the all clear so now he has a real reason to use the antique walking stick. Get well soon buddy. Its suck a bummer we had the place to our self's and John and another really good skater from Australia called Ben turned up just as Eamon was putting his leg back together.

Well BBC Acu. weather is still saying sun for Sunday so with any luck we'll have all the gang for Bushy. Has anyone found any cool vids from the X game superpark ?
